Until recently, even minor patient movements, like breathing, could distort MRI images. Enter GE’s Sonic DL™ — rapid AI software designed to capture scans before any motion occurs. Our task? Conveying this innovation to radiologists.
Introducing ‘Life-speed imaging’, a first-of-its-kind product demo which showcased Sonic’s ability to keep pace with the human body.
In the film, Sonic DL™’s pin-sharp scans were projected over a high-energy dance performance. Despite the movement, the scans stayed anatomically aligned, a metaphor for the product handles patient motion challenges.
A world-first combination of three technologies—motion capture, projection mapping, and generative animation—was used to pill of seamless, real-time tracking. All was captured in camera—no post VFX or CGI.
